What you purchase

W-8BEN Forms provides guided preparation, review, signing and download of a completed IRS-form PDF. You may start and review for free. A one-time payment unlocks signing and downloading the selected form; a new form requires a separate purchase. There is no subscription or recurring charge. Review the amount and currency shown in checkout before paying.

W-8BEN Forms is an independent service, not affiliated with or endorsed by the IRS. Blank forms are available free from the IRS. Payment covers the preparation, signing and download service.

Supported situations

The individual interview supports screened non-U.S. individuals preparing W-8BEN. U.S. persons and some people performing services in the United States need different documentation. The W-8BEN-E interview is limited to supported foreign operating corporations, with no treaty-benefit claim and where Chapter 4 / FATCA documentation is not required. Partnerships, trusts, disregarded entities, financial institutions and other unsupported situations require another route. Screening is a software aid, not a professional determination of your tax status.

Your responsibilities

Provide accurate information, confirm that you are entitled to prepare and sign the form, review every field and certification, and protect your browser session, recovery links and downloaded documents. Send the completed form to the requester using its required process. Do not assume the service submits the form to the IRS or your requester.

Service limitations

We provide software and educational information, not tax or legal advice. Consult a qualified adviser if you are unsure about tax classification, treaty eligibility, withholding or certification. We do not guarantee acceptance by every bank, payer or other requester, any particular withholding rate, or a tax outcome. Requesters may require their own interview, signature process, revision or additional documentation.

Technical interruptions can affect saving, checkout or downloads. Retain a downloaded copy and check that saving succeeded before leaving. Access recovery requires the receipt email and applicable verification. Read the Privacy Policy for storage, retention and deletion.

Payment and support

Hosted checkout processes payment and grants download access for the selected form. If you encounter a duplicate charge, failed download or technical issue, contact Support with your receipt reference and a description of the issue. Do not include card details, tax IDs or completed forms.
